Life is messy.
Have you ever sat back and thought, "Wow. This is not how I thought this was going to be.” or “Wow. Noone ever told me how hard this would be.”
Maybe you’re feeling anxious, depressed, discouraged, or even a little hopeless at times. Maybe you struggle with coping with what is going on in the world around you. Maybe it feels like too much at times. Whatever’s going on, I imagine you're here because you don't want to feel this way anymore. You're ready for something - anything, really - to change. Maybe someone encouraged you to reach out because they're worried about you. Maybe you're worried about you, too.
The good news is it doesn't have to always be this way.
It's time to talk to someone whose focus is entirely on you. Someone who isn't your partner/parent/sibling/friend/coworker. Someone who has training in this kind of thing. Someone who can be objective and help you to get “unstuck” or navigate through particular difficulties.
Therapy. Where does someone even start? You’ve taken the first step if you’re here. Having the realization that maybe you need some guidance can come with a myriad of mixed emotions. Try not to let those emotions overshadow that you’ve taken the step. We can work through those complicated emotions together.
Therapy is a place to feel truly seen, understood and supported. It’s also a space where you can work through painful experiences, whether they are recent struggles or lifelong challenges. I am committed to working with you —honoring both the beauty and the pain in your unique story.
Together, we will explore your experiences, your relationships and the patterns that shape your life. We’ll build on your strengths, helping you apply them toward healing, growth and meaningful change. Maybe you're high-functioning in some areas but struggling in others. Maybe you're looking for deeper connections or trying to find your voice in a relationship. Therapy is where those things can happen.
I am NOT a smile-and-nod therapist—that’s just not my style. I roll up my sleeves and step into the storm with you. We’re going to weather it all together. I’ve heard it all, so nothing is off-limits. Depression. Abuse. Cellulite. Sex. Money.
If you're motivated to better understand yourself, break old patterns and explore new ways of thinking and behaving, we will likely work well together. Remember, change is a journey, not a destination.
